ABOUT
The EU ECO-TANDEM PROGRAMME
is co-funded by the European Union, to boost sustainable tourism development through transnational cooperation and knowledge transfer.
The project is about finding ways and encouraging traditional tourism SMEs and tourism (and non-tourism) innovative startups and innovators for a mutual benefit corporation (TANDEM-concept). The scope is to scout innovative solutions for helping traditional SMEs to adopt a more eco-sustainable approach in the tourism industry.
OUR MISSION
Under the TANDEM concept, we aim to create synergies and to promote transnational cooperation in the tourism industry, moving to an ECO-responsible transition!
The ECO-TANDEM PROGRAMME project is designed as follows:
- a well-balanced mix of sustainable education & training programmes for tourism companies and professionals (sustainable management, socio-economic impacts, cultural impacts, environmental impacts and standards).
- It will match the most innovative startups in the field of sustainability and social responsibility with traditional SMEs from the tourism sector.
